City-Market — the software for sales departments of large producers and distributors.

City-Market allows visualization of sales data by region. Providing geo-informational analysis it assists in solving of a number of important marketing problems.

Input Data

Database of client data. A producer or a distributor usually keeps such a database to better understand the market. This information usually includes client's Name, Address, Phone and Fax numbers, Contact information, Time of operation, Revenue generated, accounts receivable and many other types of information.

Database of agent's areas of responsibility. To effectively cover a given region with it's products or services a producer or distributor fragments the given region in few areas, each one of which is assigned to a particular sales agent.

Database of geographical information. Includes maps of the city (region) and "address space" for the given area, which is used to locate businesses given their address.

  2. Create agent's areas of responsibility on the map of the region and connect the necessary information to these regions
• Informational and reference support of the business activity. Working with "client" database a user can:
  1. Sort relational data by any field
  2. Easily find information of interest
  3. Make simple and complex selections of alpha-numeric data
  4. Select objects located in a region of agent's responsibility or any other region of arbitrary shape
• Planning and analysis of the work of sales force. City-Market allows to plan agents work by creating a list of clients to be visited, and generating optimal routes for each agent. City-Market has the following capability for analysis of sales in a given area or by a given agent for a time period:
  1. Accumulating of numeric data (for example revenue, accounts receivable, quantity of product sold etc.)
  2. Sorting of clients (agents) in to groups "excellent", "fair", "poor" based on their performance by means of defining some numeric limits
  3. Coloring of clients and regions of responsibility of a given agent on the map according the their being in "excellent", "fair" or "poor" group
  4. As a result of analysis performed, regions of responsibility of an agent can modified. Clients may be redistributed between agents, regions may be reconfigured and so on
