The TimeTracker icon will appear in the main application menu of your phone.
Important Note: If you are upgrading from the previous version of TimeTracker, please re-start your phone after installing TimeTracker.
Using TimeTracker
Click the TimeTracker icon in your phone’s main menu, the application should start. From there you can review current airtime usage and configure this application (see the Configuring TimeTracker section below).
Every time you get or place a call and provided that you have TimeTracker notifications enabled, the application will display a prompt showing your current time usage for the current time slot, once the call is completed. For example, if you have just completed a call at night time and TimeTracker is keeping track of you night minutes pool, the night minute counter will be displayed.
Configuring TimeTracker
The main menu lists different call categories TimeTracker supports. In each category TimeTracker keeps a counter of used minutes, kilobytes or SMS messages (since your billing cycle begin day for the current month). It also tracks units remaining according to your plan and cost in each category when you exceed plan allowance.
Entering a category and choosing the Settings menu item allows you to edit the selected category settings. Items in the category can be configured to match your wireless plan. Click on each item to configure it. The following table describes choices that you have for each category.
Unlimited
Select "Yes" if this category is free. Unlimited categories can not have notifications.
Allowed Units
Number of included (free) minutes / SMS messages / Kb of data.
Used Units
Enter amount of units you have already used in this billing cycle.
Cost/Unit
Cost of each minute, SMS message, Mb of data. This cost is incurred shall you go over your free allowance.
Notify
Select Yes to see notification after an event in this category. Notification will close itself after 20 seconds.
Rollover
Select Yes to add remaining free minutes to the next month minutes at the end of billing cycle.
A few notes on configuring the Data category. Data units are Kilobytes (Kb), except for cost which is Cents / Megabyte (Mb). Enter your free Kb allowance and cost in cents/Mb for overage. If your plan's cost is per Kilobyte (Kb) convert 1 Mb = 1024 Kb. Multiply your cost Cents/Kb by 1024, round the decimal place up or down accordingly and enter the resulting number as Cents/Mb. Example: Cost is 0.239 Cents/Kb. It is same as 0.239 * 1024 = 244.736 Cents/Mb. Round decimals up to get 245 Cents/Mb. Enter 245 as cost per Mb.
